Dušan Pavlović

DUŠAN PAVLOVIĆ (Zagreb, Croatia, 1969) is political economist. He received his Ph.D. from the Central European University in Budapest in 2002. He teaches political economy with public choice at the Faculty of political science, University of Belgrade. His areas of interest are political economy of democratic institutions, and rational and public choice theory. His latest two books are on consolidation of democratic institutions in Serbia after 2000 (2007), and Writings in Political Economy (2010).

SERBIA AFTER THE MAY 2012 ELECTIONS

The outcome of the 6 May elections can be said to have brought about a partial political change in Serbia. Serbia has a new President – Tomislav Nikolić  –but will also most likely see a government in which the Democratic Party (still headed by outgoing Boris Tadić) will be replaced
