Letter to Readers

We would like to inform you that as of 1 January 2021 certain changes were effected in the editorial team of the Hungarian Review, and the changes also affect the publication of the magazine. Tamás Magyarics has succeeded Gyula Kodolányi as the editor-in-chief, and István Kiss has assumed the position of the deputy editor-in-chief. Gyula Kodolányi and John O’Sullivan have become editors-at-large; the other members of the editorial team have kept their positions.

Dear Readers,

We would like to inform you that as of 1 January 2021 certain changes were effected in the editorial team of the Hungarian Review, and the changes also affect the publication of the magazine. Tamás Magyarics has succeeded Gyula Kodolányi as the editor-in-chief, and István Kiss has assumed the position of the deputy editor-in-chief. Gyula Kodolányi and John O’Sullivan have become editors-at-large; the other members of the editorial team have kept their positions.

The publisher of the Hungarian Review has also decided to launch a new bimonthly under the title of the Hungarian Conservative. While the new bimonthly will develop a more specific profile for conservative thought and current affairs, the Hungarian Review will switch to quarterly publication, retaining the broad, general issues profile shaped by Gyula Kodolányi since its foundation in 2010. The first issue in 2021 is scheduled to appear in March due to technical complexities arising from the reorganization. The first issue of The Hungarian Conservative is also due to appear in March 2021. The two journals will be produced by the same editorial team.

We will do our very best to maintain the standards of the Hungarian Review. We are grateful to our many loyal readers and contributors who have helped us shape the journal’s editorial policies, and we are asking them to assist us in expanding our readership, as they have done since our foundation.

Subscribers who have had a valid subscription for six issues of the bimonthly Hungarian Review in 2021 will have their subscription automatically extended for two issues out of four in 2022.
